ART BY DALE
I'm an artist from Salford, and creativity has always been a part of my life. From my early days of colouring as a child to my ventures with different mediums as I grew older, I've always sought out ways to express myself artistically.
Recently, I have rekindled my love with the world of LEGO® and thought to myself I can use this to create my own works. The unique challenge of crafting 1of1 LEGO® portraits captured my heart, and now I specialise in creating stunning LEGO® portraits of various subjects, from animals to inspirational people and so on.
Each piece I create is unique and carefully crafted to bring out the essence and personality of the subject. I pour my heart and soul into every LEGO® creation, aiming to capture the beauty and individuality of each subject in a truly remarkable way.
CHARLOTTE BRADLEY
Charlotte Bradley is an Art Historian and Fine Artist born in Salford, who studied at the Manchester School of Arts. Charlotte is intrigued and excited by the often-inexplicable aspects of the mystery that becomes of a painting, the movements, distortion and gestural marks that are created by music and emotion which are integrated into her artistic practices. By also positioning these ideas within the boundaries of what is acceptable within art whilst pushing the art to become unlimited to creativity. This allows creative faults to become part of the finishing pieces.
The artist often uses music when painting to provoke energetic, flowing and unpredictable brush strokes, splats and movement, this then allows the painting to engage with the audience and thus allowing the art to be interpreted into whatever the audience desires to see. Almost defeating the use of language by using abstract art. An important aspect of this is the idea of knowing what a painting interprets as well as the mystery of what is seen as familiar, yet difficult to fathom.
